In a strange twist of irony a hen that was living above the check out window in the McDonald's drive through in Temecula, California was finally captured but not cooked. The hen was loose for four months as employees at the McDonald's tried to catch her. Now she lives with the store manager and his other chickens. Brokeback Mountain Commissioned for New York City Opera ... The film about gay cowboys is about to become a broadway hit! The opera is scheduled to premiere in spring 2013. Will Broadway survive to that point? Test reveals: highest IQs use Firefox on MacPPC, lowest use Firefox on Win98 IQLeague has an IQ test on their site and they group IQ scores of all visitors by different geographical locations (city, country, etc.) but they also group IQ Scores by referrer website and by client browser and operating system. They found that the smarter of the groups use Firefox on an Apple computer. Are you serious? I doubt that but it's a funny way to group statistics. June 2, 2008  FIRE AT UNIVERSAL STUDIOS ... A large fire and Universal Studios has destroyed the "Back to the Future", King Kong and a streetscape frequently used on TV shows and movies. The cause of the fire is still under investigation. There were 40,000 to 50,000 videos and film reels in a vault that burned but said duplicates were stored in a different location. Firefighters managed to recover hundreds of titles. The videos included every film that Universal has produced and footage from television series including "Miami Vice" and "I Love Lucy." French fashion giant Yves Saint Laurent dead ... One the top French designers of the 20th century, died Sunday evening in Paris. The "reclusive French maestro", who had retired from haute couture in 2002 after four decades at the top of his trade, had been ill  for some time. During his farewell appearance seven years ago, Saint Laurent had told reporters he had "always given the highest importance of all to respect for this craft, which is not exactly an art, but which needs an artist to exist." In his later years the depression that had haunted him all his life became more oppressive, and at his farewell bash in 2002 Saint Laurent admitted to having recourse to "those false friends which are tranquillisers and narcotics." "To be beautiful, all a woman needs is a black pullover and a black skirt and to be arm in arm with a man she loves."
Hillary wins Puerto Rico! "There's nobody taking Hillary's side but Hillary people," said Donald Fowler of South Carolina, a former national party chairman and one of Mrs. Clinton's most prominent supporters, referring to her campaign's suggestions that she might seek to challenge the way the party resolved the fight this weekend over seating the Michigan and Florida delegations. "It's too bad. She deserves better than this." Give em hell Hillary! We're still with you! Kurt's ashes stolen? ... Shock last night after hearing that the ashes of Kurt Cobain have been stolen! Courtney Love is said to be "suicidal" after finding Kurt's remains missing from her Hollywood home. She had kept the singer's ashes in a pink teddy-bear-shaped bag along with a lock of his hair. A couple of weeks ago, she was horrified to discover them gone, "along with thousands of pounds worth of clothes and jewellery." Um Courtney. You may want to keep an eye on things. Pringle's designer buried in his own creation ... The man who designed the Pringles potato chip packaging system was so proud of his accomplishment that a portion of his ashes has been buried in one of the iconic cans. My question is, which flavor? I think if I were to be buried in a Pringles can it would have to be in the "original" flavored can.
